I would divide my publication into free and subscription driven content. I would scrap the daily paper edition format for a weekly paper magazine. Google could offer this new business model to newspapers throughout the country and provide original content to extract income streams from their current customers. Fifty dollars a year for access to your local paper's premium content. One hundred dollars a year for access to every newspaper in the collection and for any new premium content from Google.
